The Nancy Owens Studio-lead Fort Totten design team will be presenting their work on a panel at the American Society of
Landscape Architects (ASLA) Annual Meeting and Expo on November 2nd. The panel will discuss the history of green infrastructure in NYC and best practices in integrating ecology into urban landscape designs, siting specifics from the design and ecological restoration of Fort Totten Park in New York City. In addition to Dr. Laska and Nancy Owens, the session’s panel will also be comprised of Jeanette Compton of DPR and Steve Grogg of McLauren Engineering Group. ASLA, founded in 1899, is an organization of 17,000 landscape architects from across the nation.
