Great Ecology’s Michael Parkes presented the Woodbridge Brownfield Redevelopment project at the Sustainable Raritan River Conference hosted by Rutger’s University on June 16th, 2011. Great Ecology’s Vice President and Senior Managing Ecologist contributed to the conference dialogue on the economy, ecology and future of the Raritan River Region by presenting the multiple benefits of wetland mitigation as a catalyst for sustainable development. Mr. Parkes presented the Redevelopment site’s land use history and remedial needs, and Great Ecology’s design for a 90-acre ecological restoration project including over two miles of waterfront public access trails.
