The first phase of the Brooklyn Bridge Park is now officially open to the public.
Great Ecology was part of the original Michael Van Valkenburgh and Associates-led design team that envisioned the conversion of decommissioned industrial piers into ecological habitat and a public park. With an approximately 350 million dollar budget, the 85 acre park will create the greatest addition to the New York City park system in the past 100 years.
