Culver City Rain Garden Design

Water efficient landscape design in Southern California

Project Details

Great Ecology teamed with theĀ Santa Monica Bay Restoration Foundation to support and implement a rainwater harvesting pilot program. The Foundation launched the Culver City Rainwater Harvesting Program to educate local residents on the importance of water management. Great Ecology led the design of a local residential property to showcase water efficient landscape design. The design included a series of rain barrels and stormwater swales and used native plants based on water demands and aesthetics. Great Ecology was involved through all phases of the project from conceptual development through construction administration.
