Sean Bergquist, Great Ecology’s Principal Ecologist in our San Diego office, will be speaking to the ecological community on November 17th while participating in NOAA’s Workshop entitled Coastal Habitat Conservation in a Changing Climate: Strategies and Tools for Southern California. The goal of the workshop is to collectively analyze the necessary “information, tools, and capacity to support the management and conservation of coastal habitats under climatic conditions” and to address these needs in order to plan for adaptation to the upcoming climatic impacts. Mr. Bergquist and Dr. Jeremy Pal will present research by Great Ecology, Santa Monica Bay Restoration Foundation and Loyola Marymount University investigating climate change implications for southern California coastal wetlands.

The private event is hosted by the Southern California Coastal Water Research Project in Costa Mesa, Ca from November 16th through 17th.
