Brittany Dell

Brittany has a comprehensive skillset covering a diversity of projects within the life sciences. She began her career working extensively on a multitude of field-intensive, hands-on state wildlife projects in the Northeastern United States. Her experiences include chemically immobilizing transient bears in urbanized areas of New York State with the Department of Environmental Conservation (NYSDEC), marking and recapturing threatened and endangered herpetofauna, identifying birds by sight and sound in the North Maine woods, vegetation surveys, and protecting endangered shore birds, and more.
Besides her extensive field experience, Brittany also spent time managing projects in Indonesia as a Director of a biotech company. Here she further developed the ability to lead and manage staff, which in this case specifically involved leading scientific research on novel gene therapies. She also volunteered with the Bali Reptile Rescue, where she assisted with the rescue and relocation of highly venomous snakes and outreach events educating the public about preventing snake bites.
Brittany brings a keenness for animal behavior, knowledge of ecosystem dynamics, and experience working with a broad demographic of clientele across various environmental industries. She holds a Bachelors of Technology in Wildlife Management from State University of New York (SUNY) at Cobleskill.
