More About Ally
Ally is an ecologist with six years of experience in environmental consulting in California. She has managed and supported renewable energy projects, vegetation
management, sewer and water infrastructure projects, transportation
projects, and habitat restoration. Her experience has been focused on
providing technical environmental project support through special-status
species and general habitat surveys, biological and wetland
assessments, and habitat mapping/figure creation, technical report
preparation, CEQA and NEPA documentation, permit assistance, and
regulatory compliance.
Ally holds a Masters in Zoology from Oklahoma State University and a
Bachelors in Geography & Environmental Studies from University of
California, Los Angeles. Her thesis used predictive habitat modeling techniques to evaluate large-scale population dynamics associated with genetic and morphological variation within bobcats across their range. Her work experience following graduate school consisted of genetic and morphological analyses for the purposes of species identification and conservation of reptiles and amphibians of the Caribbean.
