Zoë is a recent graduate of the University of Rochester with a BA in Environmental Studies and minors in Anthropology and Studio Arts. During her time at U of R, Zoë lead the certification of her school as a Bee Campus USA under the designation of the Xerces Society, a project that she brought to the school which spanned three years of her college education. In addition, she has built her sustainability experience by working as a Sustainability Marketing Coordinator for U of R’s Dining department and as a Hydrology Teaching Assistant.
Zoë has spent summers working as a Summer Garden Educator with City Green, an urban farming organization back in New Jersey, and working as an intern for the New Jersey Highlands Coalition, an environmental advocacy organization which specializes in protecting NJ forests and waterways. Zoë also volunteered on her lake’s Environmental Committee for three years. She hopes to gain as much experience as she can in ecological restoration and mitigation as an intern with Great Ecology.
