The PWP Landscape Architects & Roger Marvel Architects team, including Great Ecology as ecological consultant, has won the competition to redesign Constitution Gardens in the National Mall in Washington D.C. The winning design is inspired by the 1976 bicentennial historical plan for the Gardens, while adding an ecological restoration layer to bring the design into the 21st century. The project is scheduled to open in 2016.
