Great Ecology is excited to announce that we have expanded into Northern California with the opening of our new office in Berkeley, California. The Berkeley office will add to our current locations in New York, San Diego, and Denver.

Spearheading the Berkeley office will be John Steere, the newest member of the Great Ecology Team. Mr. Steere is an Environmental and Resource Management Planner who has managed collaborative and complex environmental, land use, and resource management plans and programs throughout California for the past 25 years. He has diverse writing and project management skills and the ability to find creative solutions to complex problems. He has deep experience performing alternatives analyses, and is adept at integrating diverse disciplines. Mr. Steere is an expert in public involvement facilitation, environmental regulations, and watershed management planning processes.

Mr. Steere holds a joint MCP/MLA in City Planning and Landscape Architecture from the University of California, Berkeley and a B.A. in Visual and Environmental Studies, magna cum laude, from Harvard College.

Supporting Mr. Steere in Northern California is Jessie Quinn, Ph.D. Dr.Quinn is a Senior Scientist and has over 10 years of experience in the fields of ecology and conservation sciences.
