Meet Tim Jackson, Tyler Nicoll, and Charlie Howe, Great Ecology’s newest team members.

Associate Ecologist, Tim Jackson supports the San Diego Ecology team. He has over seven years of experience in environment consulting throughout the country for a wide range of clients. As an accomplished stream and wetland ecologist, Tim has a diverse portfolio including agency coordination, delineation of waters in the U.S., and biological monitoring. He is well versed in the Clean Water Act and Section 404 permitting.  Tim is a member of the Society of Wetland Scientists and is awaiting his Professional Wetland Scientist Certification. He graduated from Clemson University with a Bachelor of Science in Fisheries and Wildlife Biology.

Ecologist, Tyler Nicoll joins the New York Ecology Team. Tyler has an extensive background managing invasive species and native plantings on large scale mining restoration projects in Florida. Her past work includes conducting biological surveys for the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Bureau of Land Management, and NYC Parks Department. She is qualified in wetland delineation and Section 404 Permitting and holds a Bachelor of Science in Natural Resources with a Minor in Animal Science from the University of Delaware.

Joining the New York Design Team, Designer Charlie Howe is a landscape and urban designer with experience in the United States, Argentina, and Mexico. Charlie has managed a diverse assortment of projects addressing ecological performance, site infrastructure, and public space. He received a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science and Biology, magna cum laude, from Allegheny College and a Masters in Landscape Architecture from the Harvard University Graduate School of Design.
