Innovative Stormwater Treatment System Opens

Cut the ribbon! The Del Mar Fairgrounds Constructed Treatment Wetlands project is officially complete. This innovative water quality initiative treats stormwater runoff and helps keep pollutants out of the nearby San Dieguito Lagoon and Pacific Ocean.

Designed by Fuscoe Engineering, Inc. and Great Ecology, the treatment wetlands provide both natural filtration and aesthetic appeal.
