This summer, nearly a million visitors came through the gates of the San Diego County Fair, and Great Ecology was proud to be part of the experience.
Joining our project partners Harris & Associates, Fuscoe Engineering, Inc., San Dieguito River Valley Conservancy, and the San Diego Regional Water Quality Control Board, our group hosted the Del Mar Fairgrounds EcoHut exhibit, an interactive learning display with information about the innovative environmental projects happening at the Del Mar Fairgrounds.
EcoHut visitors had the opportunity to explore the important work being done to support the local ecosystem, including the Del Mar Fairgrounds Treatment Wetlands project, designed to naturally filter stormwater, and the San Dieguito Lagoon Tidal Wetlands Restoration project, which enhances wetland and upland habitat for native species.
