Senior Marine Ecologist

Emily Hazelwood, MAS

Emily is an experienced environmental scientist specializing in conservation, biological monitoring, public outreach, impact assessment reports, as well as project management and development. Emily’s diverse background has honed her skills in research and problem solving enabling her to meet terrestrial and marine environmental consulting needs. She has over 12 years experience conducting both international and domestic environmental impact assessments, with a unique focus on offshore oil and gas development and decommissioning. She specializes in ecological evaluations of offshore resources, kelp forests and wetland restoration projects, and biodiversity baseline management studies. Emily holds a Master’s in Marine Biodiversity and Conservation from the Scripps Institute of Oceanography and a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies from Connecticut College.
