Ecologist

Stephanie Gad, MESM

Stephanie is an Ecologist with a background in marine planning and wetland restoration and mitigation. She has four plus years of experience supporting restoration and mitigation projects through various stages including planning, permitting, and annual monitoring and reporting. Her experience includes managing complex and shifting project schedules, team coordination, and data analysis.
Stephanie graduated from the Bren School at the University of Santa Barbara with a Master of Environmental Science and Management (MESM) with a focus on conservation planning. Her master’s thesis work assessed ecological connectivity by modeling larval dispersal to inform areas of priority conservation for certain fish species. Following graduate school, Stephanie did a California Sea Grant State Fellowship with the Port of San Diego where she worked on planning and environmental projects around the San Diego Bay.
