Great Ecology Welcomes Jennie & Chase!

Please join us in welcoming Jennie Shield,MEM and Chase Mathey to the Great Ecology team!

Jennie joins us in our San Diego office as our new Environmental Program Manager. She brings over two decades of experience as an environmental professional, most recently as a Senior Researcher and Marine Resource Specialist for the US Navy. Jennie holds a Masters in Environmental Management from the Nicholas School of Environment at Duke University. 

Chase joins us in our New York office as an ecologist. He has over four years of experience with rare species monitoring, ecological restoration, and field botany in the Northeast and southern Louisiana. His knowledge centers around restoring degraded plant communities such as sandplain grassland, coastal heathland, salt marsh, and coastal prairie. Chase holds a Bachelors in Natural Resource Recovery Ecology & Management from Louisiana State University.
