Alongside True Environmental platform partners Matrix New World, Padre Associates, and Ensero Solutions, Great Ecology will attend next week’s ESRI User Conference in San Diego, where our wildfire resilience planning capabilities will be on display! We are excited to share that a poster featuring True’s Santa Cruz County Community Wildfire Protection Plan (CWPP) project, created by Great Ecology’s Drake Stasyshyn and Hilary Mulford, was accepted for presentation as part of the conference’s Map Gallery & Poster Session! Drake will present the poster, discussing how the collaborative Great Ecology and Matrix New World Engineering team utilized ESRI’s ArcGIS Pro to develop the CWPP in a region facing increasingly complex wildfire conditions and a rapidly expanding Wildland Urban Interface. This CWPP method is replicable across the Western United States and especially relevant for cities and counties facing extreme fire risk.
Joining Drake at the conference are three other key members of the True GIS team, including Caleb Goff from Matrix New World Engineering, Cody Heap from Padre Associates, and Anastasiya Matlashevska from Ensero Solutions.
If you're attending the ESRI User Conference, we invite you to connect with our GIS team and don’t forget to stop by the Map Gallery & Poster session Monday 4-6pm!
