Great Ecology prepared a restoration and clean-up plan for Camp Ramah in Ojai, CA following the Thomas Fire. Staff conducted both remote and onsite field assessments to understand the scope of the damage and determine the camp’s most important resources and priorities. In addition, staff performed a field mapping exercise to help the camp understand recently-uncovered trail resources and where trail restoration and/or maintenance was most needed. Great Ecology synthesized all of this data into a plan that provides a clear path forward focusing on restoration efforts, partnering with local stakeholders to enhance community relations, and improving fire resiliency of the region.
