New Mexico Public Nuisance Case

Project Summary:

Great Ecology's President, Dr. Mark Laska, was retained by counsel on behalf of the State of New Mexico, in a matter regarding air pollution resulting from the commercial sale and use of a faulty automotive product. Dr. Laska evaluated how the release of specific emissions violated New Mexico air quality regulations, and whether the effects of the increased emissions could be mitigated using habitat restoration. His expert opinion report was submitted to the court in defense of the case, and Dr. Laska was deposed as an expert to the case. The case has settled.
